As a food drama, Koukousei Restaurant was okay. To be honest, I would've liked more emphasis on the students' skills and thoughts about cooking. The drama was your average school drama, about a a class of slightly delinquent students who are a turned around by a tough teacher. Acting was nothing to write home about, nor was the writing. I finished it, but in retrospect it wasn't what I was looking for. |
