At the Investigation One Section, the most eccentric person, Section Chief Kano Rintarou, hates investigation meetings. Leaving all the investigative work to his subordinates, he sometimes shows up at the crime scene with no tie doing things that seem to have no connection the the case. Furthermore, in the detective's rooms he rearranges receipt books in the desks and decides to make lunch wherever and whenever he feels like it.
A detective with ambition, a strong female detective, a sarcastic detective and a mania-type detective, all with strong characters and matching skills...not only are the police officers, but also normal men and women in their 20's and 30's whose respective lives also give them difficult challenges.
