Oh boy, a freaky Friday type story. That is what I thought when I heard of this. But then I got the set. It is about Azusa a gifted, popular girl in the highest class at school. Then there is Kouhei, who is in the lowest class. He smokes, skips school ect.
The series is very funny, I loved the way Arisa acted when her character realized she was in a girls body. Kouhei (the boy in a girls body) went very quickly to the underware drawer. Azusa (the girl in a boys body) caught him, and hit the roof! I felt sorry for Azusa when her parents had her thrown in jail, because they didn't know who she really was!
Also, it was very very funny when Azusa had to go to the rest room, and Kouhei had to drag her in there. Because Azusa being the good girl she was didn't want to touch 'that'.
The two become friends because no one else believes their story. Azusa, being Azusa keeps studying even when she is in Kouhei's body, which makes her first be accused of cheating on a big test. Since there is no way the 'backwards' Kouhei could ever get such a good grade. But a teacher believes in Kouhei, so she is back in the advanced class.
The only thing unbelieveable is that no one ever guesses that the two switched bodies. Kouhei's family did think there was something wrong, but they soon think it's because he's in love. Azusa's parents begin to wonder why their daughter is becoming rebellious, but they never notice anything else different.
Then slowly Kouhei and Azusa become more then just friends. Kouhei changes from being around Azusa, yes he is still a bit of a punk, but he stops smoking, and begins to think of others. There is also a couple of very odd love triangles in this program, but that makes it even more fun to watch.
Arisa is wonderful as a boy inside of a girl. Her comic talents really shined in this story. The way she acted made me really respect her acting.
Issei should have won an award for this program. he was very, very convincing as the girl inside of a boy. I was very impressed by his acting.

A short and fun comedy that manages to use 2 classic tricks of doramas: the exchange of bodies and the difficulty of romance between two different worlds (punk vs. high society). The result is a good and funny dorama.
All actors are fairly good, the lead actors that had a difficult job (it would have been easy to overact in these kinds of roles) did it well, the script is good with the occasional twist. There are only a few hard-to-believe scenes that are quickly forgiven for the sake of the development of the romance and also because it's only 5 episodes.
So all in all a very good comedy. Recommended.

This drama is like a little treasure found by chance.
The beginning is hilarious, Arisa and Issei play wonderfully, especially Arisa who is very convincing as a "boy".
Houkago has an incredible charm, maybe because it's pretty old, but also because of the unique relation of the characters.
This being said, I thought many more changes would have occured in each other's family.

A wonderfully endearing and amusing dorama. This is probably the closest I've seen to something resembling Hana Yori Dango and I must say I was quite pleasantly surprised. A bit manga-like at times, this dorama had an entertaining script and great acting from both leads. About an 8.5. Very neat show. I like how the Society pictured the Maintenance people, morons. Also the culture change is very nice to pick out. But this comedy and slice of romance in 5 episodes is great. I think the Dramas need only 5 episodes compared to the average of 11.
People should watch. Also Ishida Issei is great at the potrayal of a girl, OMG! He acts super good as a fag. Watch this people!
