It was a good dramatization; I loved the fight scene between Rie and her brother, but the ending scene was too long for my taste. It also made me think about communication between people, how to find one's path no matter what limitations we have, and the defects of parents, even though they fight strong to make their best. I also would like to know something else about the hostess world; is it so full of good people really? It seems Rie always found good people there. Give it a try, it is a nice dorama. |

The story is really moving, the acting very good (particular praises to Kitagawa Keiko, the late Tanaka Yoshiko and Sasano Takashi - plus, it's always a pleasure to see Toda Naho) and the message conveyed so heartwarming. |
3. | Comments by occultangle [Rating: 9/10] Good enough to be a movie. It was very touching without going over the top. The one thing I didn't like was the few times the main character did speak. I would have left in the "yamete" at the beginning just to show that her speaking was bad, and pretty much no where else. One scene she fights with her brother via nothing but notes, it was really artistic and beautiful. So I was somewhat disapointed that they had her speak during the final scene. |

5. | Comments by JudithShakespeare [Rating: 8/10] Keiko really showed a lot of emotion even though she didn't have any speaking lines, I was impressed! |
